However, amid the celebrations, Aly took a subtle dig at RJ Mahvash, who is rumoured to be dating cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Aly Goni Reacted to RJ Mahvash’s ‘Good Luck’ claim post.

Aly Goni's indirect dig

Her statement, seemingly attributing India's victory to her presence, did not sit well with Aly Goni. The ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actor responded through an Instagram story, sarcastically stating, “Indian team ki aur coaches ki mehnat X (zero). Every Indian girl who was there in the stadium.. on social media ‘I am lucky’ (right).” 

While he didn’t directly mention Mahvash, his post was widely interpreted as a jab at her remark, which many felt overshadowed the team’s dedication and hard work. 

Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash dating rumours

RJ Mahvash has been making headlines ever since her name was linked to Yuzvendra Chahal. The two were seen attending the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai togehter, sparking speculation among fans about a possible romantic link between the two. Mahvash shared videos and pictures from the match following India's victory, with Yuzvendra Chahal appearing in most of them, though his face was not visible.  

The dating rumours began when Mahvash posted a set of Christmas celebration photos on Instagram, where one of the pictures featured Yuzvendra Chahal sitting beside her during their festive lunch. 

Mahvash had then slammed the baseless rumours and the people responsible for them. "Some articles and speculations have been circulating around the internet. It's literally funny to see how baseless these rumours are. If you get seen with a person of the opposite gender, does that mean you are dating them? I'm sorry, what year is this? And how many people are you all dating then? “I have been patient for 2-3 days now, but I won't let any PR teams drag my name into this to cover up other people's images. Let people live in peace with their friends and family during tough times."
