Visuals from social media showed students locking themselves in their classrooms. However, ABP Live couldn't independently verify the videos.
The police said that the shooting appears to have happened at a Komvux, or an adult education centre. The education centres are attended by those who could not finish their primary or secondary school. Police said that the students in the neighbouring schools are being kept indoors "for security purposes".
