LILLE, France (AP) — Matthis Lebel has replaced left winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey for Sunday’s Six Nations match against Italy.
The French rugby federation did not say why Bielle-Biarrey was ruled out but reports said he hurt his neck on Saturday.
Bielle-Biarrey scored his sixth international try in the 20-16 win away to Scotland two weeks ago.
Lebel was not initially in the matchday 23 against Italy and was set to play for his club side Toulouse on Sunday.
Now he could make his sixth test appearance for Les Tricolores in Lille and add to his two international tries.
